Fashion makes a statement. I enjoy shopping for that special piece or that just because piece. When I see fashion, it "speaks" to me. I usually know right away how certain pieces will look on me even if it's not displayed on the mannequin. And not only do I believe that it speaks to me, but I also believe that it speaks messages to others. Now, don't misunderstand me. The clothing items alone can't possibly effectively communicate everything that we'd like to convey. The outward adornment matches the workings of the inward to tell its interpretation as it should. The clothes need us to tell a story. After all, we are the ones that give them LIFE, honey!!!

So, imagine my surprise when I got promoted from a size 6/8 to 12, to even greater esteem to discover that the fashion that spoke to me had already either sold out of the styles that I liked or worst. I had to search online and pray that there would be something that spoke to me at my "new level of promotion". GASP! I felt as if I'd been betrayed. Told a lie. The stores, the brands that I'd been loyal to for years were not loyal to me. And they didn't stop there. I wasn't even wanted in the store! 

For some time, shopping for those special pieces was no longer enjoyable ones. I still had the same passion, same confidence, and excitement on the inside as I always had but no longer did the fashion that I saw match these workings inside of me. There were times that I cried silently because it seemed as if someone else was defining me. Should I compromise? Settle for what was being served to me? I didn't think so, and neither should you. So, Royal Generations Productions was birthed. However, there was still a little something that was missing. More of me, more transparency.
